Question – Why is your postage charge higher than some other online shops?
Our flat rate charge to $7.50. This has been necessary to help compensate for the SEVEN separate increases in Australia Post prices since we started operating.
We prefer to keep the prices on our scrapping goods as low as possible, and to charge a reasonable contribution to postage than to raise our prices across the board. We offer the very best in customer service, with multiple payment methods and the fastest possible shipping – on the day we receive your payment if humanly possible, which we hope count for something! Unlike many other online shops we do not insist on a minimum order value, so if you just need a couple of small items, that’s fine with us!
To give an example of the costs we incur in sending your parcels, here is a table showing the actual postage cost for typical parcels being sent to capital cities. The vast majority of our parcels fall into one of these two weight brackets, and we cannot often use (cheaper) satchels due to the 12x12 size factor.

Keep in mind costs to locations outside capital cities are even higher, and these charges do not take our packing material costs into consideration. In some cases, depending on the size and shape of parcels, cubic charges are applied by Australia Post, which again increases costs.
We hope you’ll agree that $7.50 sounds a lot more reasonable given the facts!
Please be assured that if your order is very small and or/light, and is able to be sent in a satchel or envelope, you will be charged the minimum postage charge of $5.40 (or the prevailing satchel price) Your amended invoice total will be sent to you by email during order processing. If you have already paid we offer a store credit or refund to your account
We thank you for your understanding,
