ScrapFrames is a home-based business run by a picture framing mum, started in 2005 when I discovered scrapbooking after the birth of my second child. When I saw the incredible works of art being produced by Australia’s talented scrappers, I decided they were just too good to hide away in albums. However, the display systems and frames I could find then in shops were not suitable for preserving these precious memories, and they still aren’t!! The frames were basic, very limited in style and colour, and there were no mats to enhance the layout. The MDF backings used in these frames produce dangerous acids as they age, and have no place anywhere near your precious memories. Most frames available have no room at all for any of the gorgeous embellishments that make a layout ‘just right’, so we decided to offer an affordable custom framing service. We quickly expanded to offer a wide selection of scrapping and stamping supplies at great prices. As a picture framer, I am fully aware of the importance of using archival grade materials of the highest quality to protect and preserve the photos, needlework and artwork belonging to my clients and I decided to offer a custom-made archival framing service to Australian Scrapbookers. Because I have carefully selected mouldings and mat colours, you will be able find the perfect combination for your layout, but at a much lower cost than if you were to take a layout to your local framer for one-off custom framing.

Special Requests
Do you need something extra special? Double page frames can be arranged by special order, please email us with your requirements, and we’ll do our best to help. Special colours and mats cut to suit other common page sizes can also be arranged. If you would like to frame a really “lumpy bumpy” layout, please send us an email with the maximum thickness of your page, and we will advise you of the best choice of frame. Extra deep box frames are available on a custom order basis.
Do you have other things you’d like to have framed?
If you are based in Sydney, we also provide a custom framing service for just about anything you can think of, from posters, to needlework, and memorabilia such as football jerseys. We specialise in fully reversible conservation techniques, to protect and enhance your framed object.
